Exercise

Exercise is an activity to get your body moving and helps you to be fit and healthy. Exercise can help you to have more energy, sleep better, and feel happier. 

You can walk, run, swim, or ride a bike for exercise. You can play soccer, basketball, softball, baseball, golf, hockey, and tennis.

Gymnastics, dance, ballet, aerobics, and yoga are activities that provide exercise. Aerobic exercises are exercises that increase heart rate and oxygen use. They help to make your heart and lungs strong and burn calories. Yoga gives you fitness, calmness, and focus. You can do exercises like push-ups, sit-ups, and stretching. Sit-ups help to build up your stomach muscles. Push-ups help strengthen your arm muscles. Stretching helps make your body flexible so that you will not get hurt easily. 

There are many fun ways for kids to get exercise by just playing. Go to a playground and move around on the equipment, climb, and swing.
